*Frédéric Fleury is a French artist, born in 1973 in Cherbourg. His work is based of drawing and publishing. Author with many hats, straddling contemporary art, comics and illustration, he is leader of research project that tries to avoid the pitfall of a repetitive and easily recognizable trait. He has for over twenty years created series of drawings that he self-publishes compulsively in the form of books or fanzines. He is one of the founders of Éditions du 57 and Frédéric Magazine an eponymous artists collective and website dedicated to Magazine collective and various organisations such as Pictoplasma, Picturebox inc, Jalouse or Vice Magazine. Professor of drawing and publishing in art school, he is represented abroad by the Cinders Gallery in Brooklyn.
