Mike Giant is a legendary draftsman, proficient in numerous realms of visual art, including tattoing, graffiti, skateboard graphic design, printmaking and drawing. The lack of color in his work stems from his color blindness, however, rather than being limited by a paired down palette, Mike has learned to expertly use bold linework to create an illustrative style immediately recognizable as his own. His influences are readily visible in his work, but he has distilled them into something wholly unique. All Mike needs to create a design is a Sharpie and a sheet a paper – no eraser needed. Skill can be taught but you can’t fake style. Mike’s got both, in spades.
